Engineering Surveyor – Northern Territory 

Full-time positions are available for projects throughout the Northern Territory.  FIFO arrangements are available.

This role is responsible for general surveying in relation to design, set out and as-constructed on engineering and building works.

Demonstrated experience:

  • Five years plus in a similar role
  • Construction project management
  • Competent technical ability
  • Competent operation of current generation Leica GPS and Robotic Stations
  • Competent level in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (desirable)

 

Demonstrated personal qualities, skills and abilities:

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when consulting and communicating with clients, contractors, management and employees
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support people to deliver project outcomes and/or services
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of initiative and judgement on both technical and operational issues
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • High-level verbal reasoning skills
  • Strong written communication ability
  • 4WD experience
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot, dry and dusty conditions for long periods

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Surveying

  • ‘C’ Class manual driver licence
  • Valid White Card
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Full Australian work rights

This position may require travel to remote areas which will involve working away from home.

FIFO Mining Surveyor – Weipa

Long term contract.

FIFO roster of week on–week off.

This role is responsible for carrying out surveys and maintenance of an up-to-date database of mining activities used to support other mining professionals (such as planners and engineers) in ore body reconciliation and safe mining operations.

Demonstrated experience:

  • Five years plus in a similar role
  • Project management
  • Competent technical ability
  • Competent operation of current generation Leica GPS and Robotic Total Stations

 

Demonstrated personal qualities, skills and abilities:

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when liaising with clients, contractors, management and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support people to deliver project outcomes and/or services
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of initiative and judgement on both technical and operational issues
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • High-level verbal reasoning
  • Strong written communication ability
  • 4WD experience
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid conditions

Administration Coordinator – Gove

This role is responsible for managing all technical administration tasks for the Darwin, Gove and Katherine offices.  Support and guide employees with travel arrangements via the external travel provider.  Support the Administration Manager and broader company team with general administration where possible.

Demonstrated experience:

  • Five years plus in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend changes to procedures to improve productivity and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior employees to develop skills and ability whilst maintaining productivity

 

Demonstrated experience, skills and abilities required:

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when liaising with clients, contractors, management and colleagues
  • Ability to prioritise a workload with competing tasks to meet set deadlines
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • High-level verbal reasoning skills
  • Strong written communication ability
  • Advanced level use of MS Word and Excel
  • Familiar with Google Workspace

Qualifications:
