Morning snaps from the shutdown in Gove.
The job was to conduct a rail alignment survey on the port wharf. Surveying on structures over water has the added difficulty of needing to compensate for the motion of the structure as the waves and swell push against the foundations.
Rail alignment surveys are required to have high precision results, our crew have done very well dealing with these difficult circumstances.
