New Solar Power Installation
Darwin sunshine now
provides Cross Solutions
with clean energy
What we had Installed
Our 25kw unit consists of 24 panels generating enough power daily to run our office with a limited requirement to draw from the grid. This power runs our AC, servers, computers and lights.
How much do we still draw from the Grid?
Providing clean energy with little draw from the grid is a great outcome for a system of this size. Obviously it makes no energy at night, but as most of the systems are turned off during the night this doesn’t pose much of a problem. The remaining systems requiring power draw approx 1.9 kW during this time. With only significant draw from the grid between 5:30 am and 8 am while the airconditioning switches on and the sun hasn’t risen high enough to reach the panels. The same happens between 5:15 pm and 6:00 pm while the sun sets and the air conditioning continues running through to 6:00 pm.
Our commitment to the Environment
The Northern Territory and Far North Queensland where we typically operate are known for there pristine beauty. Cross Solutions aim is to do what we can to keep it this way. Keeping in mind the practices of our suppliers, clients and what new technology can offer us, to improve the way we do business in this space.
